Mark Powers

Attorney
Mark Powers has practiced business and transactional law for 20 years. He spent seven years in Chicago, where he worked as a corporate attorney supporting Fortune 500 corporation business operations and mergers and acquisitions activity. Mark returned to West Michigan, where he grew up, and continued his business law practice. Mark focuses on advising businesses operating in Michigan and the Chicago metropolitan area, the owners of operating companies, and buyers and sellers of businesses. Mark engages in limited litigation representation, on occasion, for current clients. A graduate of Michigan State University and University of Michigan Law School, Mark is engaged in Grand Haven and Spring Lake civic pride, and is an avid outdoorsman.
A proud graduate of Michigan State University and George Washington Law School in Washington, D.C., Miles comes to the practice with a strong background in both transactional law and criminal law. Miles has worked on everything from child abuse cases in Virginia to multi-million dollar law suits in Metro Detroit. After a period as a sole practitioner in Grand Rapids, Miles spent two years in Southwest Michigan working for a District Court, before returning to private practice. A native of Grand Rapids, Miles is a fanatical Spartan sports follower, and when not traveling to the team's next game, can usually be found caked in dirt on his mountain bike.
